"I needed to find my way out to safety depending on
Scully to weave
her story, to tell her tale, to make them believe the lie."

**********
If all the world's a stage then it's time for the next act.
Showing my emotions has always been difficult for me. I've
never
been the type of person who could easily share their fears,
hopes,
and desires with others. Even with the ones I trust.
Especially with the ones I trust.
Pretending to show them, on the other hand, has been
surprisingly
easy.
Then again, maybe it's just the fact that the better I can act
my
part the safer Mulder is that makes it that way.
I don't feel like I have months left, or even weeks. Just
days.
I'm not sure if the proof I've found will uncover all the lies
and
deceits while I'm still alive to see it. I believe it will.
I have faith that it will.
There's got to be a sense to this disease. Some reason other
than
I was given it to make Mulder believe.
I have to find it for Mulder. And for myself.
I no longer hope for a cure. I hope for justice. And with
justice
hopefully acceptance.
An acceptance that whoever has done this to me will answer for
their
crimes.
An acceptance that Mulder will continue his search for the
truth when
I'm gone and someday find his sister.
But in order to keep Mulder alive so he can complete that
quest I'll
have to do my best now to convince them he's already dead.
The time has come for me to play my part.
